Vintage Bus Outing to North Warwickshire & Tamworth 11 May 2024

*****This trip is now fully booked but please complete our booking form below to be added to the reserve list should we get any cancellations*****

Join us for a day out on this lovely ex-Leicester Corporation PD3 bus.

We can now confirm we’ll be having a tour around pubs, brewpubs and brewery taps in the North Warwickshire area.

The plan is to visit to first visit the Lord Nelson in Ansley, a Good Beer Guide listed pub with a nautical theme and home to Sperrin Brewery, which might be a new brewery for some of us.  We’ll then go onto the Church End Brewery Tap at a place called Ridge Lane.  I’m sure many of us are big fans of Church End beers so it will be good to try them where they are brewed.  Our next stop will be the Griffin Inn at Shustoke, a GBG listed family owned rural pub with upto 8 changing beers.  It’s then just down the road to the Rose Inn at Baxterley, which is a lovely country pub with nice outside areas and benches around a huge duck pond, so fingers crossed for a sunny day!

If time allows we’ll also pay a visit to Tamworth, a town which has a number of interesting pubs including the Tamworth Tap which has been crowned the national CAMRA Pub of the Year for the last two years running.

Should be a lovely day out. If you would like to come please use our booking form click here
