Leicester CAMRA Pub of the Year 2017
Each year, Leicester CAMRA members can vote for their favourite pubs to win our prestigious Pub of the Year award.
Voting has been taking place over the last couple of months and closed on the Friday night of our beer festival, 10th March.
We can now confirm the results as:
1st place: Real Ale Classroom, Allandale Road, Leicester. 151 points (our City and overall Pub of the Year 2017)
2nd place: The Kings Head, King Street, Leicester. 121 points
3rd place: Black Horse, Narrow Lane, Aylestone. 103 points.
4th place: Ale Wagon, Rutland Street, Leicester. 100 points
5th place: The Salmon, Butt Close Lane, Leicester. 90 points
6th place: Beerhouse, St Mary's Road, Market Harborough. 73 points (our County Pub of the Year 2017)
7th place: Swan & Rushes, Infirmary Square, Leicester. 69 points
8th place: West End Brewery, Braunstone Gate, Leicester. 62 points
= 9th place: The Globe, Silver Street, Leicester. 41 points
= 9th place The Old Horse, London Road, Leicester. 41 points
Our Cider Pub of the Year is awarded to the Old Horse on London Road.
Our Club of the Year award goes to Syston Social Club.
